Foundations of Grace is an introduction to Grace Church and the Christian faith. Childcare is available upon request. It will conclude with a Newcomer Lunch. 

During Foundations of Grace, you'll cover topics including: 

An Introduction to Grace 

Learn about the vision, values, and mission of Grace Church. We'll share where the church comes from and where we feel God is leading us today. You'll also learn about our Rule of Life. 

Theology of the Bible 

An introduction to the Bible and how Episcopalians approach Scripture. You'll learn about a balanced Anglican approach of Scripture, Tradition, and Reason as tools for learning about God and doing theology. 

The Episcopal Church 

You'll learn more about the tradition and the denomination that Grace Church is a part. Additionally, we'll talk about what's unique about the Episcopal Church and its approach to the Christian faith. 

Liturgy and Sacraments

We'll take a look at our worship services, the Book of Common Prayer, and the Sacraments. If you are new to Grace Church or liturgical worship this will help you gain a deeper understanding of why we do things the way we do.
